Roxburgh Area School provides a safe and caring learning environment, where we recognise individual needs and encourage all students to develop to their full potential. 

We see the development of positive relationships in our school and wider community as key to the engagement of our students in their learning.

We cater for students from Years 1-13 and this means that we are a family focused school. It is not unusual to see our senior students helping the younger ones both in the playground and in the classroom. We pride ourselves on developing these positive relationships which allow our younger students to enjoy a safe and supported environment while our older students develop valuable leadership and communication skills. We genuinely believe that students learn best when they enjoy being at school and feel safe and supported in their learning. 

Our size means that we can offer small classes which focus on individual needs. We make use of technology to ensure that our students have a comprehensive range of skills and are best prepared for whatever the future holds.  We then support these students to develop individual learning pathways which enables them to make meaningful and informed choices about their future study and work. Our focus is on meeting the needs of every student the success of our students attests to its effectiveness.
